Francisca Vasquez-Griffiths

Office Manager/Accounting

Francisca started with our law firm when it was still in its infancy, willing to take on whatever tasks necessary to help make our firm grow.  Francisca manages the day-to-day happenings of our front office and records department, while also supervising the accounting department for our firm.  She greets every member of our team and our clients with a smile making sure that their time here in our office is comfortable and welcoming.

Francisca is a Tempe native and attended McClintock High School.  Her family has lived in the valley for over 100 years.   She has a degree in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu and a degree in Education from Arizona State University.  While she was working on her degrees, she was also raising her son.  Francisca is currently working on obtaining/attaining her Paralegal Certificate to be of more help to the office as it continues to grow.

Lissette Abarca

Senior Paralegal

When she interviewed with us, Lissette explained that her favorite classes in law school were the immigration and entrepreneurship clinics. When we asked why, we expected we would hear the typical response, “I wanted to help people.” Instead, she answered that she knew that immigration was a serious topic with people’s lives on the line and the same could be said about entrepreneurs. She went on to say that she wanted to learn those topics in order to teach people how to help themselves achieve their goals and improve their own lives.

Lissette graduated from Santa Clara University and sits for the Arizona bar exam in 2022. When she’s not busy with client matters, she can be found at the gym or running around town with her daughter.

Blanca Vasquez

Director of First Impressions / Reception

If you’ve called or visited the office during business hours, chances are you’ve encountered our Receptionist and Director of First Impressions, Blanca.  In addition to managing the front office, she books client meetings and collects records for our attorneys to review before consultations. More importantly, she contributes to our client-centered approach by translating for our Spanish-speaking clients and ensuring that their voices are heard.

Blanca is a Phoenix-area native and attended Chandler High School. She has three children and is engaged to be married in 2023. When she’s not helping in the office, she’s probably out hiking or fishing with her family.

Rico Medina

Client Concierge / Records Clerk

Before starting with us, Rico worked in a number of client-centered positions that include customer service, retail, photography studio, and restaurants. With this wealth of experience, we knew he’d be perfect for the job of client concierge – a title we created just for him that allows him to help our firm reach its mission of clients first.

Rico is a resident of Tempe, where he was born and raised. Rico is engaged and planning his wedding for 2024. When he’s not fetching records or helping our clients, he can be found hosting game nights for friends.
